Christian Valär and Ursula Valär

 

Christian (called Hitch) was born in 1881. He married Ursula Meier.

 

Ursula was a very intelligent woman, but sadly couldn't attend college because of the times. Christian was a carpenter and farmer. He was also one of the first Swiss mountain guides certified in his home state. Christian and Ursula had four children, three of which have their own page on this site (Hans, Paul, und Maria). He passed away in 1960.
