The Valär Family
The Four Sisters (The Tantes)
After being married in 1950 my grandparents Paul and Paula would go on to have 4 daughters. Their stories are below.
Steffi Valär
Steffi was born in 1954. She went to Dartmouth College. She lives in Pennsylvania where she lives with her husband Ed. Her first career was as a banker in New York City. Later she became a development officer, raising money for Franklin & Marshall College. She just retired in December, 2014.
Victoria Valär
Vicky was born in 1958. She attended Middlebury College. She was a real estate broker. She enjoyed ski racing throughout her life. She resided in Breckenridge, Colorado before her untimely death in 2011.
Pia Valär
Pia was born in 1964. She went to Sterling College. She used to be a snowmobile guide and cooked for hunting guides in and around Yellowstone National Park. She currently owns a horse hotel in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Christina Valär
Born in 1966, Christina graduated from Middlebury College in 1988. She earned her law degree in 1991 from the University of Maine School of Law. She worked in State governemnt, where she met her husband Yellow and they had three children; Annina, Cannon, and Quinn, all of which have Swiss citizenship, and have the Valär middle name.
